There’s no getting around the fact that the $269 (SRP) XPEDO M-FORCE 8 titanium dual-sided SPD pedal is expensive. But, for the weight weenie who likes to walk in their cycling shoes from time-to-time and isn’t quite ready to make the move to a single sided pedal the M-FORCE 8 is a fantastic option. Most of Illinois, and Iowa, is flat and covered with corn. But, there are scenic stretches of rolling roads along the Mississippi River, which is apparently perfect for cycling.
