Strava is a strange company. They are often hostile towards their customers, and oddly, their partners as well. Usually, this exists in the space of relatively minor annoyances. Like when they claim your data as their data… This time though, they have gone after Garmin. One of the major sources of your data in Strava, because and maybe Strava forgets this… they don’t make hardware, and using the app as a data logger is a dumpster fire experience.

Naturally, DCR has the full skinny. It’s an interesting watch. I am going to grab my popcorn and watch Strava get destroyed in court, assuming they don’t back down before nap time.
