Garmin Drops 14.23 Beta for fēnix 7/7 Pro, epix 2/2 Pro, Enduro 2, Quatrix 7, and MARQ Gen 2

There is a fairly large change log, listed below, but I think Garmin buried the lead here. This is a unified firmware for the fēnix 7 and fēnix 7 Pro, same for the epix. Garmin fēnix 7, Epix, Tactix, Quatrix, Firmware 11.28 Released

Garmin is claiming that they released all the HRV, SATIQ, Training 2.0 stuffs for the fēnix 7, epix, Instinct 2, Forerunner 945 LTE and Edge 1040/1040 Solar. This is great news for the folks who want the goods, but aren’t comfortable running the BETAs. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to pull down the release build either directly or with Garmin Express. But, I’m not complaining too loudly, it might just be because…

Of course that screen costs battery, both because it’s beautiful, and beauty is never free, but also because there’s no option for solar. My take after looking at several reviews is that if you can stomach the upcharge, get the…
